The Church of South India is sturdy with thousands of followers. Their marriage ceremony is entirely different. The holy matrimony of CSI ultimately aims in the unity with Jesus Christ. The Church of South India have certain specialties  for marriages. It starts with a hymn sung by the choir. While the main priest prays, the people around are stands. Hence, the choir and people sing or there may be silence as organ is played. This is known as silent procession. The marriage ceremony would proceed in front of the lord’s table.
